Halloween Paper Bag Album

I am going to be teaching some ladies at our local library how to scrapbook and wanted to give them an example of different ways to scrap.  I created this Paper Bag Album on a whim.  I used the small paper bags from Hobby Lobby.  I am a good hour from a Michael's, so I wanted to keep the materials in line with what is available locally.  It was fun to do, and because I used the small bags, I was able to use a Halloween Mat stack to complete the album.  The mat stack was 6 1/2" x 4 1/2".  The size worked out really well.  I covered the album covers in black paper and then used some Halloween fabric to cover it again.  I love how the fabric looks on the covers.  I just finished the inside of the covers afterwards with plain black paper.  The embellishments were stickers I have had FOREVER.  Some were so old that I had to add adhesive to them.  LOL.  I also used my punches, both Martha Stewart and EK Success. The frame on the cover came from Michael's dollar bin.  I tried some new things, like the flip.  Love it, and will definitely incorporate the flip on some of my other projects.  It is a great way to add several pictures to a layout or a page in a mini.  Hope you enjoy looking at this project, it is pretty photo intense.

  1. I'm not into Halloween, but I'm so into paperbag mini's. I really like this book!! I'm about to start working on my December Daily which will again this year be a paper bag book. I will be using your picture frame on the front. I love that!

    1. am so not into Halloween either. LOL. My church has a fall festival. Since some of the smaller kids dress up, I thought it would be a cute mini. I don't like skulls and stuff like that. Glad you can use the frame idea. They have some cute ones in the dollar spot. We can probably get some at Dollar Tree too.
